Welcome to the forum Going Gear!
I'll take that challenge; in the name of research of course.
Got links?
Trust nobody!
Never mind, I see that's where the OP got them. On my way there now.
Trust nobody!

I get excited too easily.
OK, I ordered some stakes, 3 whistles (just cause), and some paracord because you can never really have too much. I hope they work as well as GoingGear claims; I like doing business with folks that take the time to come here and login. Plus, it's fun.
FWIW, they have some nice looking flashlights for pretty little coin on the site. I resisted temptation out of fear of Genuine Draft, but I suspect I'll be going back and getting one.....maybe two.

Woo! Thanks for the order!
Hopefully your stake tests do not make me look like a fool. They work fine for me, but who knows what kind of crazy tests you hammock folk do. Actually, I guess that should be "we hammock folk" since I use a HH UL Backpacker when I am not with my wife and the requisite extra 50 lbs of gear.
The paracord I have zero reservations about. It is seriously the highest quality stuff I have ever seen. The manufacturer takes great pride in their product and I have no problem recommending it to anyone. Same goes for the flashlights, but they are more costly than what most campers are used to, so quality is hopefully assumed.
I wouldn't try dynamic load testing with stakes... that sounds just simply wrong on so many levels.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

That's pretty good, GoingGear . . .finding the post here on your stakes. Welcome to HF!! I have greatly enjoyed your blog, articles, videos and site in general. I think you will make a great addition to this community if you choose to participate, especially given your pyro-mania!!
