    Yes. Tie outs were staked.

    Some pics may help.

This is odd. Only a few of the pics are showing up in the message. I retried the links and they're good. Hmm?

The pictures in my post above are only showing intermittently.

Im not sure, but, should the OCF pad be hooked to the ridgeline? In one of the pics it looks like it is this way on your setup (first photo here on your thread, fourth on picasa). From what i understand (still dont have my SS) the ocf pad is supposed to be atttached on the outside of the hammock, using the prussic hooks from the support ropes and the side tieout of the hammock.
Some pics dont load in Picasa for me, only the two that are shown here.

That picture looks really strange to me. I seems like one side is very lopsided. Not sure what is going on there. The pad certainly blocks the entry more than mine does. I can understand your frustration with it. Couple of things you might check... make sure the undercover is tightly connected to the tarp prussics.

Also... check and see that your undercover is installed properly. It is easy to get the thing turned inside out. The taping on the seams at the head and foot should be showing. I can't tell from the pics whether it is in your case or not. Just grasping at straws here.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

elco' - The OCF pad is connected to the tarp prussics.

rev - That pic was shot at an odd angle. If you look at the car and shed in the background you can mentally adjust the level. I don't remember the taping situation but will check it.

I'll also measure my pad and post the numbers. Maybe others with the Pad for the Explorer can see if they have same.
