    Looking for a Hyperlight

Im looking to possibly get a Hyperlight. Does anyone have one that they would be willing to sell for not to much money $100 or less.

Can't help you for under $100, but would consider selling mine for $175 it's brand new.
My knife is so sharp it cut the sixth finger off my right hand! On the plus side, Inigo Montoya no longer hunts me.

Im not really sure what i want, but i need to get something better then what i have soon. I leave early june for the AT. Right now i have a travel hammock with a extra tent fly as my rain cover. Im looking for something that weights next to nothing. HH doesnt make the Adventure Racer any more so i was looking at the Hyperlight. I cant spend a lot of money, i have to start paying for college soon. I have found a hyperlight that i can get new for $130 but im just trying to see if there is any chance of saving any more money or is there a better option out there for me?

The hyperlite lists at 26oz, minus the fly (8.75 oz). So, 17.25oz for the hammock. A better option IMO means the Blackbird. A single 1.1 is .25 oz lighter than the hyperlite (17 oz); if grams mean much to you. At $160 new, plus a tarp it might not be the budget set-up you're after, but it's a tough hammock to beat for weight and functionality.

    You asked.

I have a HH HyperLite which I find to be VERY comfortable. The down side is the lack of a bug-net zip. So, by the time you buy the hammock and get 2Q's and ZQ to do the mod you may be into more $$$ than an alternative (like the BB). But, as for the desireability of the HyperLite, I think it's great. And, it can be argued, but probably not proven, that the bottom entry may let fewer skeeters in.
