Greetings from Steve in San Antonio

I am fairly new to camping with a hammock but I already know I don't ever want to sleep on the hard ground again. Upon recommendation from a buddy I bought a WBBB with the Superfly tarp. I absolutely love the setup...so comfortable. I also just recently picked up a 20 degree Incubator from Hammock Gear. I've only used it once so far on a night in the lower 60s. It was great. I'll be in the market for a top quilt soon so I can get out in the cold (as cold as it gets in south Texas) :-)

Many thanks to all of the regulars who contribute wisdom here. I look forward to continuing to learn about and experience hammock camping.

    Steve

Welcome to the forums from Indiana. Your off to an excellent start!
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

Hi and thanks UncleMJM. I probably can't make the campout in November but it sounds like a blast. Maybe next year. Thanks for the invite.

Thanks Lost Biker. I'm certain your cold weather gear must be excellent to hammock camp in Indiana!

Howdy from the DFW area. Don't worry if you don't make Fairfield. There are other opportunities with fellow "hangers".
