Hello from Dayton, Ohio

Hi everyone. I'm Chris. My husband and I are relatively new to hammock camping. We were backpackers back in our twenties (approaching 40s now) and are just getting back into it now that the kids are older (preteen/teen). We are both in ENOs currently, but thinking of upgrading to WBBB XLC at some point. I want the 1.1 DL and hubby the 1.7 DL. We have been using DIY UQ and using mummy bags as top quilts. We are just about to pull the trigger on some New River KAQs though.

I've done a lot of browsing here in the forum for information and just wanted to say thanks for all the great posts! I've learned so much and still have so much more to learn. ;-)

Let me know if you want to check out any gear I might have. Hammockgear quilts, WBBB, Liteowl, cuban tarp, Superfly tarp, ect..

Cool. Might just take you up on that sometime. We are hoping to attend the local hang in Germantown/Twin Creek in November, so perhaps we might see ya there.
