    First experience with JRB

The weekend I bit the bullet and ordered a Greylock 4 underquilt from JacksRbetter. Today I get a phone call from Jack to tell me that they were out of stock and would not be able to ship for about 10 days, he also offered me all kinds of great advice on my upcoming thru of the AT..Wow what great customer service. I have a feeling I will be buying from him again.

Yes, we're lucky that all of our cottage industries are able to give that kind of personal service.

The only problem i've had with the Jacks stuff is i don't have enough of it.

Yes definitely great service. I had a small issue with my UQ after my first trip out. They got me all patched up in no time flat. I find this to be one of the main upsides of purchasing from cottage industry vendors

    Thanks Jacks

The Jacks are great... I bought an underquilt from them about 10 years ago, and one of them spent about 40 minutes with me on the phone while I was out in my back yard trying to figure out how to hang it right...

Then, about 6 months ago, my shock cords finally wore out... the biners were still good, so I figured 'see if you can just get the elastic part'... when I mentioned that I just wanted new elastics, all they asked was for my address.... 3 days later, I had new cords... WAY impressive!

The Jacks set the standard for how the other venders do business around here. They have consistently been great contributors to this community. I doubt there would be a Dutchwaregear.com with out a JRB.

Mighty fine fellers them Jack are. I have used a HR TQ for years and have a Greylock 4 as well. Plus...I have always loved their down sleeves. So useful in so many ways.

    First experience with JRB

+ to all the above posts. I too had a similar experience with the Jacks. My first piece of gear ever was a Mt. Washington 3 UQ.
