Greetings everyone!
I just recently moved to the WA (Tacoma) area all the way from Ft Riley KS. I will be sent overseas very soon and would like to get some hanging time in before I leave. So as of right now with the Gov. Shutdown, alot of my plans are FUBAR'd and I need to find some alternate spots.
If anyone familiar with the State Parks surrounding the Tacoma area would be kind enough to point me to the hammock friendly State Parks, I would be super grateful. Thanks in adavnce!

Lots and lots of I gated National Forest land near the Skokomish, Duckabush, Dosewallips, Quilcene, Grey Wolf and Dungeness rivers within a short trek for T-town.
There are forest service roads connecting Quilcene to Sequim that have dozens of trails in gorgeous country.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the strength to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
I do most of my hanging a little north of you along the I90 corridor or the middle forks river. Both are open during the shutdown. I am not sure about Mt Rainier. Lots of great spots. I'm just not sure if they are open.
