    It would seal but it would also break down and fall apart faster than the correct sealant. Right tool for the job.

    Paul knows his stuff. From McNett, Seam Grip or Seam Sure would be good options for Urethane coated fabrics. Silnet for Silicone coated.

    Hello, I am making my own tarp and was wondering if there is a DIY seam sealer for PU coated material? I live in Hawaii and there is not a lot of local stores that carry SeamGrip and it is not very cost effective to order it because of shipping. Thanks for any info.
