    DIY Finished

Ok so this is my first time ever using a sewing machine. My mom's machine didnt want to work so i used my grandmothers machine, this thing is 52 years old but it got the work done. My seem are nothing to brag about.

Being my first i went simple 10x12 tarp. Now that the wind has died down i have set it up and got some pictures.

That alone makes it a keeper for gear making.

Well I tried to set it up yesterday when I finished it and there was 40+ mph gusts of wind outside. I ended up breaking 2 Fig 9's.

Well this afternoon I got bored and made some snake skins for my tarp.

Nice tarp indeed, you will like the extra coverage and with how you spaced the tie outs you will be able to close the ends.

Nice looking tarp. I'll be starting to make one the same size (12x10)tonight.

I'm just wondering if the middle tie out (on this side) is necessary. I was planning on putting a tie out on each corner and then 3 feet in from each corner(leaving a 6 foot stretch in the middle (total of 4 tie out on each side). Does any one see a problem with that???
