    dumb question about a stand

I have a dumb question I wad offered this hammock stand and I know it is used for hammocks with spreader bars and not knowing the angle of the arms would this fit an eno style hammock or a diy gathered end hammock. Just want to be able to use mine in the house. I've attached a pic of the hammock and the stand.

Since you have a structural ridgeline, it's possible but the ends may be a bit low to clear the ground.

Re: dumb question about a stand

You may be able to jam some pipe into the top at each end in order to raise the attach points higher - worked for a stand I had similar. Used a 45* elbow w a 18" pipe on Each end of rhe elbow- topped w a T Connector. Works. Ends do pull inward a bit when in hammock. Solved with a line between them keeping tension when hammock was empty.

I have that same stand and used it to test some things but found it was too low for a proper hang. I still use it for the occasional backyard nap. Although I have a Turtledog stand now so the old pipe stand is hiding out n the shed.
