    hey Reggie.. the length of the UQ is enough to cover the average guy from head to knee... there is enough room to go thru the slit in the HH, by pushing the UQ to the side. The UQ covers the entry of the HH just partially - then, adjust the suspension (use the supplied suspension cords or the JrB suspension kit) if needed while you are still sitting. a short section of pad is used from the knee to feet. Zrest sections, a peice of CCF, a nightlite pad etc.. you get the idea.
    this photo may show you how much of the lower hammock the UQ covers. hope that helps. mike

    A model eh? Gee, I'm flattered!

    Don't I get any points for on-the-trail ingenuity in rigging up that alternate orange suspension? I knew there was a reason I always pack along a couple of extra mini biners and a mini bungee cord. That certainly is a pretty sweet looking quilt.
