    Jarbridge fabric

Can anyone tell me what fabric the jarbidge is made of and if it has a DWR treatment?

It may be on their website but I've looked for it and don't see that information.

Anybody? Seems like a simple enough question.

Wondering the same thing, just got a new quilt and very much like the black "inside" on the outside instead. I don't see any darts or differential cut that would make reversing the quilt an issue. I'm assuming the outside fabric (that you get to chose the color of) is DWR treated for ground splatter, not sure about the black side though.

The cottage industry guys vary in the quality and quantity of the info available on their websites about their products. In general I find the info to be limited. I have found vendors are open to questions and they answer them, usually pretty promptly.

When you're marketing products that people can't see before buying it would be smart to err on the side of more rather than less data.

I've been trying to get an answer to this simple question since Thursday I think. I would guess the jarbidge is 1.1 DWR ripstop fabric but why should anyone have to guess?

Have you shot Paul an email, or caught him while he was on Skype during the day? I believe a phone number is also listed on his site as well.

I've always enjoyed prompt communication from Paul, it's possible he's been out in the woods since you first posted on Friday night or hasn't checked the forum. As mentioned above, I would try the various contact methods provided on the AHE site if you haven't already (e.g. email).

I do agree with you, more info is always a good idea.

Nope did not miss it but was out of the shop on Friday and then A. had family stuff going on this weekend and B. I don't normally work on the weekends...got to have some time to spend with the kids and wife. Sorry for not getting back sooner.

Our fabrics are predominantly all 1.1 (30D) ripstop with very high quality DWR. We do offer some unique options as well like our Multicam which is a 40D ripstop also with some of the best available factory added DWR treatments. We also stock some other fabrics from time to time like M90 or similar that we offer mostly just for pillows and the like but on occasion folks have asked for quilts made from them and we have worked to accommodate when ever we have had enough available in stock to make custom orders of that nature.

You actually can reverse the Jarbidge...or any of the other KAQ's as well. Provided it's adjusted properly it's not a problem at all to hang them inside out if you want. Both the inside and outside fabrics have the same quality and DWR's.
