Greenbrier River Trail, WV then to MAHHA

I'm going to bike ride & camp on the Greenbrier. I plan on parking at Watoga Park mp 46, on Friday October 18 then biking up to Marlinton, mp 56, for dinner then up to a campsite north of Marlinton, mp 68 for the night. In the morning biking up to Cass, mp 78 having a brunch there then biking all the way back to Watoga Park for the MAHHA Saturday afternoon.

Anyone want to join me? PM me

Greenbrier River Trail, WV then to MAHHA

Well I didn't camp on the trail but I did bike on the Greenbrier on Saturday. I saw 2 bald eagles. The trail is excellent and it was well worth the 7 hr drive. (It included a detour to the Ambler Distillery with taste testing their bourbon.)

My bike goes with me to next MAHHA at Watoga! I'm going to add in a couple of extra days. The area is too big for a short weekend.

Great! I plan on taking a couple of extra days to do the Greenbrier or maybe the more remote North Fork trail by Durbin.

I stopped there on my way to MAHHA. Great place. "Old Scout Bourbon" was made for this old scout!
