Hello to all. I'm relatively new to hammocking, about a year....First hang was in April of this year in the Cranberry Wilderness area of WV. Over 2 feet of snow and lows in the low 20's. I have to say that was the best I've ever slept in the woods. I stayed remarkably warm and dry and cut my pack weight significantly. Not to mention, the room I saved in my pack. I'm using a HH Expedition Asym Zip and it seems to work for me. Got to hang one more time in the Cranberry a moth later, the weather was much better.... 60's and 70's. Looking forward to the info here on the HF and also meeting new people to backpack and "hang" with.
