Link's broken for me
I'd rather be hanging.
Russ has it on Facebook as private.
The Fool Scouts are pleased to announce another in the increasingly annual festival of hanging out in one of the prettiest campsites on the coast.
Let's see how many hammock campers, musicians, paddlers, fools, and campfire enthusiasts we can get to join us.
Not your thing? There is shopping, biking, sightseeing - a good basecamp to explore from. Show us how you like to hang out.
It's a great chance to shake down the camping gear between the end of snow and the start of bugs with a fun bunch of folks.
Sunday morning, pancakes will be provided for breakfast and the traditional pre-departure pancake toss.
ADDITIONAL INFO -
* This is before the official opening of the campground, which means limited amenities - and limited expense - $12/person/night. (Under 12 free with parent), $20 to stay the weekend.
* Because this is mud season, all vehicles MUST be parked on the pavement.
* We will have hammock demonstrations for those who are thinking about hammock camping, or those who will first discover the joys of 'uplifted camping'.*There is ample camping space, so we will have designated quiet areas for families or those who like more tranquility in their hang.
* If enough musicians are coming, we'll see about setting up the 10x20' canopy, walls, and heater for a pickin' space.

Can't get there from here. How do I get more info? Would like to get to Brunswick again. Take care
Thanks for posting this! I'm from Oxford County as well. Any idea of the headcount for this? I am interested, but would like to see how many others are interested. I'm torn between this and the hang on the same day in MA. The 28th is my birthday, I want to have fun, meet people, and check out everyone's equipment :-)
Wow, too bad this is the same weekend as the NEHHA Spring hang. This looks like a fabulous place to go. Wish it were a different weekend. Oh well.
This is not just for Hammock Hangers. It is for musicians too. In fact it was originally started as a bunch of musicians getting together for a weekend of camping. Russ being a hammock person invited us hammock hangers to join in. Since then there have been at least 5 or six people from Hammock Forums going. It's has always been a good time sitting around the fire at night listening to people play.
As of right now there are there are five of us from Hammock Forums attending this even.
Russ has kept it a private event for a reason but he told me that if your on Facebook you can send me a PM with your Facebook name and I can invite you to the event.

Apologies for not posting this year. Life has been unusually hectic here.
Disappointed I can't make it to the Spring NEHHA hang, but we've been doing this the last weekend of April for years with a regular crew and we still have plenty of ground-dwellers to convert to the one true camping style.
The excellent news is that there are many opportunities for hammocking and hanging out that weekend. Hoping for great weather and good times for us all.
I'll be there. This is one of the events I look forward to most every year.
Had to retract myself from this one and will be going to the Ashby Hang in MA.
