I'm a bit south and we got solid rain for three days. I've got a Superfly I love, but haven't had it out in anything that bad yet... My only concern is that I have enough books if it happens.

That's some serious rain. I think that a superfly will be the next purchase! Thanks

Just Swingin: Wow! I didn't realize we got that much rain. I awoke about 0400 on Friday morn and thought "This is the heaviest rain I have ever hung in!" And right then the rain got harder.

Hodad: Yep. Looked like that. Luckily we had a big MSR Parawing to cover our community site's table so we could indulge in the consumption of adult beverages while we bemoaned the inability to canoe.

Chug: Permatex flowable windshield silicone is what I used on my pull-outs. Not a drip.

I Slept through 1 inch per hour rain for six hours with my Superfly and stayed bone dry. Love my Superfly!

My father-in-law has a rain gauge that measured 7.5 inches. I had a 5 gallon bucket that was empty sitting out next to my garage and it filled up to within about 3" from the top. It was a ton of rain. Thanks for the report.

We have our OA Fall Fellowship this weekend. We are heading down and setting up around 4 this afternoon. The rain is coming in later tonight and is expected to be heavy at times. This will be my first time with my Superfly and RR. Should be some good sleeping tonight.

Agree, a Superfly is a great one tarp quiver.

Yes, sometimes too big. BUT when it hits the fan all
    that coverage helps out.

I have had mine in pouring rain, snow and small pellet
hail. All the time staying dry and warm.

I have a nifty 2qzq center pole mod that I recommend.
I pole adds rigidity right where you need it.

My Superfly kept me high and dry. This was my first trip using my new WBRR and the Superfly. We had some fairly heavy rain Friday night and a little Saturday night. I never had to worry about a thing. I'm 100% satisfied. My son was in his Hennesey scout hammock and faired well also. He wants a bigger fly now after seeing my new one.

Last week we went through 20 hours of rain on the AT in Georgia. Not a problem in the superfly. Lots of ground dwellers ended up in the shelters due to tent failures.
