I learned a bunch of stuff! The tip from Jack (Pan) about the shock cord wrapped a bit around the suspension to hold stuff was great.
I also enjoyed the flint knapping. I never knew how difficult the ancient people had it just to get meat to eat.
The leave no trace presentation by VegaMike was all good.
It was nice to actually see the pole mod for tarps in 3-D; made it much easier to figure out.
It was really great to be able to thank the person that made my nice and warm quilts. Thanks again Stormcrow, I love my Hammockgear quilts!
This was my first large group hang. The people were friendly, generous, helpful and just plain fun. Did I mention how great the food was . I am so glad I went.
I learned that I realy want one of Pappa smurfs dream hammocks. And from the stove demo that I want a Bushbuddy. Also learned better ways to hang my tarp. But most of all how great hammock forum people are. This was my first hang and everyone was welcoming.

I learned not to miss another mahha. Sadface.
OMG Ferret! This was the best one ever! EVER! EEEEEVVVVVVEEEEEEEEERRRR!!! THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER ONE LIKE IT!! Aliens landed, Harry Potter made it, we learned how to dehydrate water for backpacking. JD brought moonshine. Man, I can't believe you picked this one to miss.
Thread drift! No way . . . I learned not to ever miss a MAHHA! Just like Ferret!
