I don't plan on setting up in the dark. I'll be there in the middle of the afternoon well before sunset. I will serve supper at 6:00 p.m. I've cheated. I hope I didn't break any sacrament for camp cooking, but I've prepared to an almost finished degree what I plan to serve. I will have to boil the broth then add the almost finished chicken thighs. Wanted to let you know. I cheated because I want to try it out tonight for supper. I'm hungry.

It is going to be colder Friday than tomorrow so I think I will get on down tomorrow. Just might have to stay in the hammock all day Friday, no that won't happen.

I really wish I could make it out to this and there is still some small hope I might be able to but not holding my breath. However, I was reading through all of the post and noticed there was some mention about the get your gear on consignment shop. I made a trip up there just to check them out today. I spoke to the store owner and they are doing inventory but if they are there he said they would be more than willing to help and are open. Just thought I would let anyone know that was curious.
Thanks, I forgot they were doing inventory.
I will be bringing some homemade venison vegetable soup and some bread for the potluck. It has a little spice to keep us warm.
