Remember how OneThatHikes showed up last year with a bedsheet and some hitch straps and ended up with a full rig to sleep on? One of my favorite parts of the 2013 trip.

Looking forward to seeing that backpack!

That was hilarious! Ghetto hammock--gotta love that. I couldn't believe he actually put that thing together.

I will bring an extra DIY Grizz Bridge Hammock. It's light weight but can handle anyone who weighs about 190# or less if anyone wants to try a bridge.

Check my sig below, I have a link to it. My second backpack has not been documented but I plan on bringing it. The latest pack I made weighs around 12 oz., has a hipbelt, sternum belt w/ whistle ...all in all it carries fairly well.

Whoops! Shoulda noticed the link in your signature. That pack came out great. I really like the large side pockets. I'm looking forward to seeing the new one at the hang.

The backpack is nice and all... but I won't be fully impressed until you actually sleep in your hammock.

If you bring the tent this year you might wake up to find it's been turned upside down and hung from a tree to give you that hammock experience you've been missing!
