Is it just me? (I hope not) but since early this morning, I've been unable to use any of the formatting buttons or smilies. This spans 2 computers, 2 browsers an Ipad, an android tablet, and a phone... so I really hope it's not just me.
I can still ( I think ) hand code BBC in and have it work...

Well at least hand coding worked.. But i still cant use the formatting buttons (on the Android tablet now)
Wrong now none of them is working, better let a mod know,this with all the problems with the notifications is like someone is messing around somewhere that they shouldnt, if its not a mod they should be expelled!

Using Firefox, BTW
I just jumped over to my Chrome browser and things seem to be OK, using Chrome.
Firefox user here, but thats strange, firefox and chrome are both google
Buttons work over here. I'm running Safari on a Macbook. Hope it gets straightened out for you soon!

Interesting (to me) is that (in Chrome) the https://www. etc is crossed out and in red https with a warning about sections of the site being not encrypted. I'm not sure if this is something new, since I've always accessed HF via Firefox till just now.....
But, as you can (probably??) see, the usual formatting and smilies seem to be working in Chrome.
Nope, they're not both Google. I use Chrome and my https:// is also x'd out.
Here on my iMac (I mostly use a Win7 PC for web surfing) no formatting or smilies in Firefox or Chrome, but working 'normally' in Safari, as Pipsissewa noted.
Too many browsers and computers can come in handy sometimes....
