    Secondary gear hammock

I am looking into making a secondary hammock to hang underneath my ENO setup to hold at most up to 55lbs of gear when I am on deer hunts and things like that. What would be the best materials and process to follow to do such? Pictures would be greatly appreciated !!

Just make a mini hammock out of 1.1 or 1.0 ripstop. It will weigh next to nothing and be overkill for the weight you want it to hold.

Or, if you don't have a sewing machine, find a small sheet or piece of fabric with hemmed edges and just whip the ends with some de-cored paracord. Add suspension and voila!

If you do it right it even makes a good chair. For that reason I'd probably use something like 1.9 oz sport nylon from JoAnnes and 1" straps to hang it with.
    YMMV

As mentioned, I'd make one strong enough to use as a seat. It wouldn't be that much heavier and is great for around camp. I actually take an ENO Pronest or Grand Trunk Nano to use on canoe trips as a chair/lounger/gear storage. I find I don't have enough room under me for a lot of storage though. I'm short and my chair height doesn't allow much room beyond my UQ.

I just took a diy ripstop hammock that I don't use while I'm laying in another it holds me so it'll hold all my gear on hunts. Very effective I just biner it to my tree straps and pack everything under me. In the photo the blue hammock is my main and the grey is for gear. Actually keeps some warm air under you also
