    TRADED: SL 1.1 10' Hammock

I've "graduated" beyond the weight limit of a SL 1.1 hammock (can I ask for a treadmill in trade? )

So instead of letting this sit in the gear closet, I'm posting it here.

10' long 66" wide, HUGE Dynaglide whoopies, Dynaglide RL, Noseeum bishop bag. Will include a set of tree straps, with loop on 1 end for MSH setup (no toggles provided)

    8.7 ounces without straps.

I have no idea what I want in exchange for this. Tempt me

What would the weight limit be, best guess?
What would the approximate value be?
What kind of fly fishing gear would you need to part ways with the hammock?

For weight, I'd say 200lbs tops. Warbonnet lists 200 as the max for 1.1... I'm up to 225, and upgraded to a DL.

For the value, its worth what you think it is I can't answer that question honestly, gear rotting in a closet is worthless, and since it is homemade, I can't put a dollar amount on my work.

For flyfishing gear.. I'd love to get into it, but own nothing, so would need some form of setup.

Do you venture along trout rivers/streams or neat lakes? What type and size fish are expecte? I could likely create a light trout combo that would get you addicted...er, started!

For me, my trout fishing is done pretty much anywhere

I'll go after Heritage brookies in streams I can hop across while hiking. Max weight out of there (for me) has been 2lbs.. Backcountry beaver ponds are another big one too. Nearly every creek within 100 miles of me is stocked yearly by the DEC (Dept. of Environmental Conservation) so my choices are pretty limitless.

This coming spring, I'll be in Isle Royale National park, going after their "Coaster" Brookies too, and hopefully a quick stop of at yellowstone in 2015 for Cutthroat.

All that aside, 80% of my trout fishing is done here:

3 miles away, it's a common destination when my dog needs a good walk. Stocked twice a year by the DEC, and 3 times a year by the local college, It's got Rainbow, Tigers, Brookies, and my favorite.. Browns 15" minimum length legally, but my minimum length is 20".. And I've never had a problem hitting my limit. Weights vary per species, but a on average a 20" brown weighs in at 3-4lbs.. my largest this year was 31.5" and she weighed in at just under 15lb

As far as "addicted" I'm already addicted to trout I don't actively pursue other species unless it's my once a year trip up north for big pike Other than that, it's my UL rig, and 4# test. I made a point a few years ago while out in Missoula Montana, to take a fly fishing class on the Blackfoot River.. just to say I did it That was 6 years ago, and one of the only times I've ever touched a fly rod.

    mil. gortex bivy

a 3.5?? yard piece of acu camo ripstop, i believe its 1.9 (big enough for a
    hammock)

    dutch clips (ti)

    dutch biners (ti)

I will add the ripstop to any of the others to sweeten the deal

Very interested in seeing what you have to offer nuttysquirrel (meaning pics, or descriptions) let me know if your still interested.

This is a great hammock, and with as small as it packs, and weighing in at less than 9 ounces, it can literally vanish into a day pack until you need it for an emergency overnight, or decide to take a nap on the summit of some mountain
