Dual Purpose (Rain & UV Protection) Tarp Recommendations please

On holidays a couple weeks ago I set up my hammock in extremely hot and sunny conditions near a beach with very little tree foliage above me
I used my sylnylon WB Superfly (camo) but with the sun being really strong the heat coming through the fly made lying in the hammock unbearable.

I switched to the Hammock Bliss All Purpose Shelter (silver side facing the sun) and that made quite a difference – albeit some heat still penetrated through.

Later in the evening, rain and wind came through and due to the small size of Hammock Bliss Shelter (345 cm diagonal - 305 cm length x 146 cm width), spray was getting the hammock really wet so I had to switch back to the Superfly in a hurry.

The only other large dual purpose (sun and rain) hammock tarp I can find out there is the Mosquito Hammocks Sun Fly with the big sized one being 300cm wide x 400cm long.

Does anyone have experience with the Sun Fly or any other dual purpose light weight tarp and perhaps make some recommendations?

how about tarp skins? You get rig the tarp up, but keep it in the skins if you don't need it, then quickly pull it out when you do....

Thanks Fallkniven but what I was actually looking for is a single tarp that can be used to keep the rain out as well as bounce off strong sunlight.
That is why I asked the question on the Sun fly

You may have to make one if you want one with that kind of purpose. Diygearsupply sells a material that is black on one side and silver on the other. I'm not sure if it is tarp worthy though. I unfortunately have no experience with this type of tarp but wanted to help the only way I could. Good luck with your hunt.

For shade, I use my tarp. In porch mode or high on each side. This allows for the beeze to move thru.
If you use any material and close it up, itll be hot

Hot is hot, sometimes ya gotta stay in the a.c.

Space Blanket - silver side facing the sun. Now that is an excellent idea fallkniven!
I do have a couple All Weather type of space blankets somewhere in the shed.
Mini project for next weekend: Need to figure out the best way to attach the space blanket to the tarp.

Great idea Fallkniven! Ultralight too. Aris, how about using just a few small binder clips?

Thanks Berksound. Binder clips may do the trick but I was also thinking of using EasyClip Midis
    http://www.easyklip.com.au/products/.../#.UoCpxifrsYg
Used them before on tarps that did not have enough tabs/grommets and they worked fine.
I will need to work out how to position the All Weather space blanket edges so it matches the tarp edges and then bind them together with the easyclips.
