This is a really good deal

I estimate that this stuff would go for over $400 new. Thus the $200 selling price for "like new" and "unused" stuff is really, really good.

I don't need this stuff, but it is clearly a really good deal. If someone is looking for a "starter" package, this would be a great Christmas present.

Did you have a zipper mod done by 2QZQ as well?

No 2QZQ zipper modifications. The hammock is still the classic bottom entry.

FWIW, I've used "the classic bottom entry" for about 300 nights over the past six years.

    1) It is simpler and easier to enter than a conventional zip hammock. Just duck your head into the opening, sit down, bring your feet up, and your are in. No zipper to open, no zipper to close.

    2) It is simpler and easier to exit than a conventional zip hammock. Just spread the opening with your feet, get out, and walk away. No zipper to open, no zipper to close.

    3) Only modest downsides to "classic bottom entry" that am aware of:
    a) Occasionally, the "hook" side of the velcro opening grabs the synthetic shirt I may be wearing.
    b) If using the optional HH UnderPad, or another UQ (with notable exception of the JacksRBetter "Nest"), you need to push the UP/UQ out of the way when entering/exiting -- an extremely modest inconvenience which may very well be outweighed by the advantages discussed above of not having to deal with a zipper.
    c) If you choose to use a "torso-length" UQ with the "classic bottom entry", it is somewhat more difficult to adjust the position of the UQ.

Bottom Line: Don't be scared off by the "classic bottom entry" -- you may very well conclude that this is a wonderful innovation and wonder why all hammocks aren't designed this way (hint: at least one reason is Tom Hennessy's patent).
