Sounds like you should be quite cozy. Most of the cottage vendors rate their gear conservatively and you've got quite a large margin of error built in. Enjoy!

Ah Fall in Canada! WE still have a few weeks before it's officially winter. How was the night in the backyard?

From previous posts from, DeRozea, he said he had it made by Underground Quilts. So I suspect it is the standard full length quilt just with taller baffles for way more down insulation.

    Cheers

following my Underground TQ construction progress/wait time on their list. Ahead of me in line for construction was an UG bottom quilt -25, was going up near Thunder Bay. Just recently. Was that yours?

that was mine.(UGQ) I asked for something to do me over to the middle of winter and they gave me that and a TQ to match...didn't order that TQ yet. requested a timeframe to use it and they got it to me by it. it is a beautiful downy work of art. they posted it on their facebook page as well

well I came in by 130 this morning. was plenty toasty. actually started peeling layers in the hammock to keep from sweating. made that wind feel nice.

I think i might have a problem though....I have never slept good in a hammock without a pad. each time I have a pad under me I am out like a light, when I don't, I toss, turn and even though I am comfy and warm I just don't sleep. I will be much more active tomorrow so maybe if my body is more tired I will sleep fast in it. maybe it will be colder too.
    any advice?
