This was my first group hang and I have to say it far exceeded my expectations. The knowledge and experience represented was amazing! I extend a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to answer my endless questions with a smile.
I even learned that on my worst day I ain't so bad at starting a fire; thanks to Alan and his 12 hour (I think that's how the story last went) fire starting marathon. #justkidding

The HammEck ACU camouflage hammock someone walked away with during the Saturday night prize drawing. Came with whoopie slings, toggles, tree straps, and a stuff bag. Quick and easy setup. Great beginner kit! Anyone have pics of the UGQ tarp?

    The HammEck was a hit.

It's a great looking piece of gear. Excellent craftsmanship and price. I don't see how they will make much selling them because they are a real bargain.

I know that Lostagain was excited to win it and don't mind saying I'm a bit jealous.

I can see it as a great entry hammock for scouts, youth groups, and others just getting into the hammock world. It's also a good option for those who have a full blown camping rig with netting but are looking for something for cooler weather when the bugs are away.

Looking back to last year to reminisce and forward to post Covid-19 hangs in 2021
