    We are planning on another batch. We have a few things to work out and the blisters on my hands are healed from deburring. It should be right around the corner though.

    Gram weenie is good. Different colored webbing doesn't weigh anything. Besides they a look so all shiney. Like a brand new nickle. Honestly Fin's powder coat made me want to go fishing with them. We looked into getting them anodized or engraved but it added to the cost. It's neat to see how people personalize them anyhow. But I like mine just the way they are, nice and simple.

    I thought about paint and then decided thread was easier. I redid my loops to make them smaller. Then use colored thread.
    Red == Redhead
    Black = Blackfoot
    Now I can keep it straight.

    My son and I are fairly new to "hanging" and I have been looking for something like this to make it easier for him to starting hanging his own hammock. I love making stuff and I have access to a sewing machine, wood shop, metal shop and 3D modeling software.

    Here goes ...... I have made a model of this clip to get a feel for the sizes etc. If there is none ready and if Dutch and 2Q don't have any objections ..... I want to make a few for us.

    Let me know so I don't get anyone PO'd at me.

    Thanks

    P.S. - I've added a file so you can see the 3D model. It requires a viewer that can be downloaded for free ...... my favorite price.

    Cool file

    That 3-d model thing (once I got it to work) was pretty awesome indeed. It really shows the Dutch Clip well.

    Has anyone noticed that the Dutch Clips act as 'tuning forks'? I accidentally dropped one today on a tile floor and was surprised how long it carried 'pitch'.

    attroll mentioned that to me earlier this week, but I was at work at the time and forgot to try until today.

    AS you win the prize. They really are tuning forks that we adapted for hammock use. Now just come to PA and claim you prize. How ever you will be responsable for all taxes, trip expenses, and loss of limbs by theft or combine accidents.

    Is there or Will there be a list to place future order for Dutch'sClips?
    Don't want to miss the order again if out in the woods.

    We will order four.
