    Hammock Maintenance Day for me

Washed the ol' Greenbean hammock. Been a while and the recent Gorge trip funked it up. Coffee stains and methane pew.
Added some new orange whoopee slings.
Took Frankenquilt and added 4 ounces of down. Needed a boost as of all the UQs I own I do not have a 20º. Now I do.
    Polished my toggles.
    Milked my buries))))))

Methane pew.....snort. That a phrase I had not heard but like immediately. Sorry, I'm twelve years old at heart, and my wife doesn't like when I say f@rt.

Now all new and clean you will have to take it out for a test run.

The flag looks great in with Greenbean.

I love maintenance day. Have had quite a few here since I hammock thruout the year. Yes, including Summer.

I'm like a clean dog, though. After I clean the gear, I use it right away in the backyard. And the cold is coming. Whooo.

Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Just back from 8 nights in it in Linville Gorge. Now it is clean for some Winter upcoming trips.

Been a while since I have done any maintenance so it feels goodly and unsoiled.
The orange whoops are real pretty…and match my new flag.

I need to do a little maintenance on my gear as well. Tree straps are looking a little weathered, and I noticed some fray on the old tarp ridge line this last trip...sounds like some weekend chores are taking shape.

I've been avoiding doing this... I need to soak my bag and pack... they're kinda... pew-y too.
