I might be able to get my hands on a Adam and even double sleeping bag (http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/produ...type%3Dproduct) for a good price. The bag is rated to 20*. What would be the best thing to do with it? Use one to make uq, one for tq? Both for a pod system? Harvest insulation and totally diy quilts. Not worth it all? What are your thoughts?

If it was down, I would say to harvest the down and make something. You can use the halves to make a TQ and an UQ. I think I would take one half and make an UQ and use the other half to make a pod for colder weather. That would give you two separate uses for different weather.
Wow that is one heavy bag for 20 degrees. 12 pounds 7 ounces - most synthetic bags are around 3 pounds 8 ounces for 20 degrees for a single person bag.
