    Cold Feet

I did a hang over the weekend and temps got close to 35*F. I have a foam pad that's full length, my sleeping bag (30* rated) , and I even had a bag liner for extra warmth. Most of my body was fine, my feet however were COLD. I had on regular socks + a think pair of wool socks.

I used a hot water bottle at my femoral artery and that was amaizing. lasted most of the night. I'm thinking of using chem warmers between pairs of socks. What do you guys do to deal with cold feet?

Ditch the socks. If they are sized for your feet then they are to tight to sleep in and adding layer only makes them tighter. You won't notice it walking around but stop for the night and even a little constriction will slow blood flow and lead to cold feet. If you feel you have to have socks then one pair of high loft wool (or better yet down socks/booties) that are sized comfortably loose...regular sock go up a size set.

I got a pair of fleece sock one size bigger and they help me. I also put a hot water bottle in a fleece bag and put it at the end of the sleeping bag if I expect temps in the 20s. Also pay attention to you hang and ensure that you feet are elevated to high.

Wearing socks keeps my feet cold. I tuck my bare toes into the footbox of my 0° Burrow. Toasty but not sweaty. I keep my socks in there so they're warm when I get up, though.

I have found down to the 20's atleast, that I am fine with a good pair of wool socks. I have some down boots that I have worn a few times as well but they are a bit toasty as I have had to kick them off a few times.

I really like having a small pad that fits into the footbox of my bag.
That way I know my feet are on top of insulation.
Sometimes will put my winter coat over my sleeping bag / feet if it is real cold.

My feet sweat period..no matter what smartwool socks or shoes or what ever I wear..they sweat..before I go to bed,,I wipe my feet down, with alky wipes or just water,,to get the pores cleaned out and open and feet are then dry..no sweat,,then I can put another pair of smartwools on and good to go..when extreme cold..hard to beat the AHE down booties. If your feet are damp or sweaty,,wipe them down before crashing or even hiking the next morning.

I sleep with a piece 15" piece of ccf foam in my sleeping bag and will do the Nalgene trick as well.

stuff an extra jacket/clothing in the footbox around your feet
wrap a jacket around the hammock/footbox/quilt
try a pair of vapor barrier socks
    try down socks
    chemical foot/hand warmers
leave the hot water bottle by your feet

one or multiple of these should work

The foot is a sweaty place. My experience echos what others here have said. No socks or loose fitting wool socks. And a CCF pad that fits in my footbox.
