    Cinch Buckle Belt

This topic was mentioned earlier on another vendor's thread here.
    https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ad.php?t=79451
I don't want to derail the other thread so thought I'd post here instead to be polite.

My everyday leather belt finally broke so I made this one in the workshop one day. I've been wearing this one for a few weeks now and I like it pretty well.
I'm thinking this might come in real handy in case you run into an extra large tree or need to extend your suspension.

It's 1.9oz & 48" long. 1" Polypro webbing, but for tree hugger use, I'll probably make a few more from 1" Polyester webbing.
I've thought about adding it to my site as an accessory.
Don't know if there would be interest?

It's a nice idea Randy, I bet you would have some takers. Plus you always have some spare suspension if you leave a strap behind.

Thanks. I know this idea isn't unique and has been done many times.
Since I gotta wear a belt anyway, I plan on having mine with me next time I'm out, just in case.

A solution to a potential problem that is elegant in its simplicity. By this time tomorrow, a couple hundred people are going to be saying "Why didn't I think of that?". Half of them will have made their own by Monday evening, the other hal will be waiting for it to be on your website.

Awesome idea Randy, I was just thinking the same thing as WV wanted a simpler way than my version. I was trying to use the JRB Tri-Glide (as I already had it) but alas it doesn't grip very well and lets the webbing slide. Your solution seems like the best of both.

Now if only Dutch would figure out how to make em out of Ti, hurry up Dutch I know a lot of people would surely like one now.....

I carry an extra tree strap and some amsteel. Mostly in case the trees are bigger than I planned. This would mean one less thing to carry if it doubles as a belt.

Depending on final price, I would be interested in one. I need to replace my belt and this would be a good solution.

Thanks guys. Sounds like it oughta be added to the site.
I'll make a couple up with our regular 1500 lb Polyester webbing so I can get some photos and a final weight.
