    0º Phoenix VS Greylock 4

About to pull the trigger on a 0º UQ, wondering if you guys have any input and comparisons between those 2.
The suspensions on the HG seem to me to be a little better?
What about the baffles directions, big difference?
    Fabric Difference? Moisture resistant?
    Thanks for all your input.

I'm no fan of 3/4 length UQs for sub freezing weather.
Unless you are stacking one on top of a full length.

    Phoenix vs GL 4

Same questions here. Seeking answers. Limited funds. Been looking at WB 4S Yeti in the same mix.

HOPE SOMEONE CHIMES IN HERE. So close to pulling the trigger. No Guts.

Well the picture I posted above is a WB4S UQ over top of a WL 20F Full.

Does it look big enough to cover yur bottom? How cold do you plan to hang?

I wonder if one could get a 20F Full over stuffed for about the same price as a winter 3/4? Just something to think about.

Many of our vendors are having a Black Friday type sales might be worth looking into.

I've taken my full length KAQ 3 season New River to 8 degrees with a Dream Hammocks Winter Sock and a reflectix sleeping pad in the hammock. I'm not overly enthusiastic about trying that with my 0 deg Phoenix 3/4 UQ. I have tested that to 34 degrees a few weeks ago, but I also zipped my down coat over the foot end of my hammock and added a foot pad for extra warmth. I'm planning on stacking my two under quilts for the Winter NEHHA just to be safe. The Reflectix Sleeping Pad will be coming along as well.

No. I picked it up from a forum member. The quilt is the standard 30 degree and weighs in at 32 ounces. I use daily on my hammock in the house.

The wonderful thing about Hammock gear is the custom work..
My o degree is a phincubator.. 64in. long.. Fits me perfectly , without the extra length-weight..
We would be one step closer to world peace, if everyone slept in a hammock..

Partial length quilts make a lot of sense to save weight for 3 seasons but for a full on 0* winter underquilt, and I really like cold weather camping, I just take the weight penalty and go with a full length quilt.

To the OP the quilt Mountain Gout if talking about is a hybrid quilt of a Phoenix and Incubator combined.

    Pretty sweet quilt IMO.
