Lefty or Righty?

I understand the footbox thing, but taking that out of the equation (and without hijacking the thread), I wanted to ask something else in reference to left/right side sleeping. Do people generally face in (relative to head position) or out? I have only slept one night and not sure what to try next. Seems to make more sense to face "in" (feet by the zipper).

Did that make any sense?

I sleep out - my face next to the zipper with a 180 degree view.

"In" is not a bad idea in high wind. I like a little air movement across my face, but at some point it becomes difficult to sleep.

do you face together when hanging together? zipper to zipper? or the other way?

We hang using the "three tree" method when we can, and usually set it up so that we are zippers "out". That makes answering late night "calls of nature" much less disruptive to your hanging companion.

My BB has the right hand side footbox. I normally sleep on my right side but flip flop from right side to left side to on my back so mine has worked out just fine for me.

Being right handed I find it much easier to work a zipper that is on my left. Something to think about.
