4 ounce UL suspension

Been thinking about this for a while and have finally had time to put it together.

It's a variation on Sgt. Rock's mule tape and dynaglide system but I used 7/64 Amsteel because I do not want to die!

5' mule tape tree straps are larks headed to 16' suspension on each end, which is tied in a locked bite (not whoopies) to soft shackles that connect hammock, SRL, UQ, and whatever else one wants to clip to the hammock.

Altogether, hammock and suspension weighs 10.6 ounces.

What is the weight rating on your mule tape?

Sorry forgot to add....

That's a great weight on your hammock, since the pics aren't loaded on here yet does this include a bug net? Or no? Single layer I am assuming going off the weight, but what type of fabric?

No bug net and single layer DIY 10x5' of that 1.1 ounce MARPAT rip stop nylon that I got from Magna. Here's a picture of it:

Yes.

If it is the one that is pure finished, it is 1.0 not 1.1. At least all of the pure finish that PapaSmurf and myself have seen is all 1.0.

It is the same fabric PapaSmurf was using for his Darien UL hammock, love that stuff, it feels sooooo great, the only drawback is it is extremely breathable. I made a netless hammock out of that fabric (dig camo) for a winter hammock, and a weather shield of some sort is most def needed in that thing.
