    Source for Plastic/nylon O-rings??

    I'm trying to find a source for nylon or (tough) plastic O-rings like the ones on Hilleberg tents.
    They are the correct size to work well with plastic toggles.
    ID= 1/2 "
    OD= 3/4"

    Thanks for your help!

    I had found those, but they look a little on the 'skinny' side from the pic...

    Thanks for the suggestion; McMasterCarr is a great source for 'practically everything' .
    McMaster Carr doesn't like dealing with non-industrial Canadian customers, and they also used to use (and looks like they still do) UPS ground shipping, with a $35 minimum handling/brokerage charge added to any taxes owing at my end.

    Been there, done that, never again!

    local hardware

    You might try a local hardware.Ace, Tru Value , etc... Not Lowes or another big box. Normal hardwares usually have a selection in the hardware aisle in various materials and various sizes. DIY or MMC would be my next recc, but they are listed above. At the hardware you can take what you need the part for in and try it out.

    I may end up using 'standard' flexible O-rings, if that's what you mean....the O-rings used for seals in plumbing/auto applications.
    They'd be plenty strong enough and would stand up OK as long as there wasn't a line sliding through them, I think. Our local equivalent of Harbor Freight (Princess Auto) usually has the 'Box with 500 assorted' for less than $10. I wouldn't put them in my car or a stove, but...

    I did find hard rings like I want at one online supplier @ $0.99 each with a minimum $25 order, but I'm not paying that!

    I have a McMaster Carr about 18 miles from me. I've gone out and picked stuff up before. I'm not sure if they have what you want, but if you get desperate enough PM me and we'll see if we can work something out.

    I have some of those - they're just the right size for using with the (small) mitten hooks.
    I think they are too small for the applications I have in mind - accepting toggles or lines. The toggles are about 1.2" long.
    Please see pics below.
