UC for dangerbird 72

I am thinking about making an undercover to protect my down UQ and to block the wind a bit. I looked at a few online and they were only 60" wide but I have a 72" wide hammock but my UQ is 42". Would it be better to build the UC the width of my hammock or just enough to cover the UQ.

the uq only needs to be 40'' or a little wider than you are
