    Arrow 13 year olds diy synthetic under quilt

    diy sythetic uq i made. total cost of materals was around 50$: 2 yards 5 ounce climashield apex from thru hiker 24$, 3 yards 1.1 ripstop from SLD :15$ cordloks : 1.00$ shock cord 5.00$. contruction was prettey easy, just sew around the perimeter and bind with 1.5 grograin. it measures 40.'' x 55'' i acualy made this quilt 6 mo. ago but i have waited to post until now for testing. i have taken it down 30. degrees f. and been toasty. it weighs 17.ozs with suspention. also works great as a runty TQ for my 4 year old brother!

    my first diy UQ was a sewn thru down quilt, didnt go so well!
