ok guys, a lot of you have talked about how warm, hot, muggy, humid ect... it was. Did anyone record the temps?? Also with the next hang coming up in June, does anyone know what kind of temps to expect there for that hang???
Just finished reading all these posts, sure wish I could have made it too. The pictures were fantastic.
huh, liver mush, yuk !!!???? I don't think so!!!
Really cool looking kilt!!
and the guy with the camera problems, I had that happen when I had the camera set for using an attached flash but then didn't use the flash. All my pictures were half black. Camera not broken, just operator error.
I know we were pushing 90 degrees. They were calling for record highs while we were there. The thundershower felt good, but like here on the coast, after the shower it was oppressive for a while. Couldn't tell you what it might be like in June.

Thanks to everyone for all the nice comments, reports, & photos! This was our biggest campout ever--nice for our 25th Hang! Karen & I always enjoy these campouts, for the same reasons everyone else does--lots of new & old friends around a warm campfire. Several folks commented during the weekend how well behaved & friendly the group was--everyone easily found someone to talk to, even total strangers instantly felt at home. You just can't get any better than a group of hammock enthusisants (at least as long as the food holds out)!
I just posted the June Hang info here: http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=8419
We look forward to another great turnout

Nope. I actually took the camera apart. There's a little doohickey, im going to guess a piece of shutter or something that's dangling on the inside of the camera. It's attached to something in the body itself, so I can't pull it out and wouldn't pull it out anyway.
It was time to get a real digital camera, anyway.
I have such cruel and mean words for you, sir.
