    That'd be me. You're welcome!

The first tab "Original..." is Cat Splats exact calc.

The Dual differential tab adds fabric length for a dual differential (vs only adding width in the original) and has a seam allowance adjustment.

Also, in the temp section, I added the Jardine formula for reference.

Be careful, as Cat Splatis original page was protected, so you couldn't make changes to the formula's accidentally. My tab is not. You can change anything.

And maybe they were not down at all, but feathers. A couple of generations ago, the money went into the fabric and trim of quilts, and there was no concern with weight, either of the fabric or of the filling. Lots of loft was available from feathers. Even chicken feathers.

Oh hey, I didn't know you'd added a seam allowance calc to my sheet - cool beans! Would you mind posting a link to it in the thread for my original calculator?

Plus, and I'm sure it's the same for MYOG, I will climb a tree like a monkey or dive under water to get a fly. I respect them more.

I'm a knowledge worker, so something where I can work with my hands for a little bit makes me less crazy. I love DIY.
I hear that with my bad ear. Making a specific fly to match the season and stream is worth the effort... even if you don't catch anything like me hahahhahahaaaa. Seriously though, I don't have TV anymore, so I have all of this wonderful spare time to use the skills I have to make stuff. I just made two soft shackles out of a couple 10" pieces of 1.2mm Dyneema Tech Line. Not sure what I'll use them on.

My only complaint with DIY/MYOG is that I just wish there was a nice cheap source for 800+ fp down.
