    Hello, from Mobile, AL

New to the hammock. I've been tent camping for a while, I just got back from a trip to the Walls of Jericho this past weekend and a buddy had a ENO setup just for relaxing. ****, that was nice. It got me curious about giving it a go with my *** off the ground. I'm trying to figure out what kind of setup I need for me and the wife w/o killing the bank. I have a lot of reading to do around here.

Gracias, sir. I see that you're an HH user, mind if I ask your impressions of an HH hammock? I see that Hennessy has a special to receive a cub zip hammock w/ purchase. The HH Expeditions Asym Zip is one of the hammocks I'm considering. My friend w/ the ENO is big on the DD Jungle so I'm kind of up in the air about what to get/do and how I have to pitch this "new hobby purchase" to the wife.... life!!!

Welcome from the Jersey Shore and a fellow Alabamian. My first hammock was a Hennessy Expedition Asym Zip. I really loved it for about a year, till I tried longer hammocks without integrated bugnets.

I'm 5'10, 160 lbs. and I found the Expedition to be too short (once I tried longer). So look at a longer Hennessy or other hammock. I like simple gathered-end hammocks like the BIAS Hiker Lite or Weight Weenie Micro. My tablecloth hammock is very comfy too.
