    Hiking This Weekend?

Anyone hiking this weekend? I've got a couple days off starting Saturday and was thinking of taking an overnighter or possibly 2 night trip somewhere, but not overly strenuous. Anyone have any ideas or want to join me? I was thinking about maybe a little of the the AT and/or Virginia Creeper trail or possibly Allen Gap to Hot Springs. I'm open to suggestions and willing to travel 3 hours or so from Charlotte. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to post here or PM me. Thanks!

you may want to be glad you didn't do this one.

worked out to a total of 37 miles. 9.5 miles of the roller coaster the first day, then to make up for it 20 miles the second day, and to wrap it up 7.5 miles in the rain sunday.

KFC never tasted so good as that 2pm lunch sunday.

Hooch and I have decided to head to Virginia and do VA91 to Damascus on the AT. We have a shuttle scheduled for about 9am on Saturday morning. If anyone is interested let us know.

yup, I'm going to a National Park here in southern Sweden, never been there. Will not camp pver the night due to the rules in the park.

In Sweden we have something called Allemansrätten (all mans right) that allows anyone in Sweden to enjoy the natural rescources that we have in this country. But in National parks the rules change a bit, camping is limited to established locations setup by the park ranger, no hammocks in the trees No firemaking outside the assigned areas.

If I can manage to get my thumb out of my *** and get going I will bring my camera along and take loads of pictures.
