Question Black Cat Tarp Instruction - Need Help

The excel file that the instruction refer to must be different than the one that can downloaded today. The excel file doesn't display the pre-cat cut hex shape as described.

Does anyone know or have the correct file???

    I hope this makes sense....

The excel file that I'm hosting for the forum is the only copy of it I'm aware that existed.

I'm not sure what you're saying is missing. Is it just the cat-cut dimensions? What about using the templates from this post?

On Page 11 it states this:
If you're not using my dimensions, you'll need to enter some information. First enter
your desired ridge length in the green cell marked "L". Then enter your desired width in
the green cell marked "c". The diagram to the right of the file is a layout of how half
your tarp will look (before the cat cuts), so refer to that if there's any doubt.

    Also page 12 states:
When the file is done calculating, take a look at the cell marked "Angle AB". This is the
measure (in degrees) of the angle between diagonal "a" and side "b" in the hex
diagram. If the angle is larger than about 55, you're fine. Skip ahead to the next
    section, leaving the file open.
If "Angle AB" is less than 55 or so, look at the bottom of the spreadsheet. There should
be a new tab there, labeled "AlternateShape". Click this to view it. You'll use these
measurements instead of the ones on the main sheet.

    This where I get stumped...

I'm like 98% sure I've got a copy of the original excel file on my home computer. I'll look tonight, but I can't imagine it's any different from the one you have.

I might be able to dig up the MATLAB script that BB used to create the excel file if someone has MATLAB and can run it. I no longer have a pc with it installed. It's a little more anal if you believe it giving you the dimensions every 1/8 of an inch across the cat cuts.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?

Try this file. I think it contains what you are looking for - courtesy of Cannibal.

It's the same one I have, just shows the cat cut.

The other link that has the CAD drwaings, should compensate for the portion of the instructions that had me stumped.

Thanks to both of you, for taking time to help me on this.!

He's right, that link doesn't display the image in the upper right of the spreadsheet. Did I send you the wrong thing AS?

No, the file I hosted is the file you sent, but I renamed it which seems to break the embedded object. Weird.

I have fixed the link above, and it *should* be correct now.
