hey guys, I will be making an Uq soon, and have a question---I have some mosquito netting, but its not no see um netting---------will it still work for baffles? (never done this before--hence the question!)

FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

Sure. It won't stop an extremely determined piece of down from migrating to the tube next door, but neither will noseeum. It might even be lighter than noseeum by a bit.
The only concern could be durability. After repeated stuffing/unstuffing is it possible to tear?
Many don't use tulle for baffles for this reason, even though it's at least half the weight of noseeum. Noseeum is very durable.
Thanks guys! I just ordered some no see um just to be on the safe side!

For what its worth, once in a while I see tiny bits of down float out of my jacket through the stitching. I've seen feathers come out of my bedding when I had down pillows or comforter, etc. YMMV.
I suggest make a small ( think 3 inch x 3 inch ) sample of your build and see how it performs.
