Not a bad first trip out.
[QUOTE=jabberwalker;1150630]here you go, one of a few pictures i took on the trip
How did your tarp hold up? Did you have any winds or sharp objects to contend with? Did you use a template or specific website to guide you?
Greetings from Alaska
yes I like the tarp too.... been thinking of doing that as well.
Oh yea the tarp is great GREAT! i had a small tear from a falling branch, but it didn't carry on, just real small puncture. It cost about 10$ total and i really like it.
I have spent maybe 5-8 nights under it and it weighs nothing. (almost)
Just google Polycryo Or Polycro. it is window film material (home depot 7.98), gorilla glue brand duct tape, and a few garden hose washers. pitched diagonal for the hammock.
Thanks for the Welcome!
Yes i have been lurking, I hoped to be able to view pictures and be a real member eventually but it still shows my post count is zero and i cant view attachments. oh well still plenty to see as a "Guest"
new record low, temperature that is. on my last trip
got down to 12* F a few weeks ago when we all had the vortex. wore my down jacket inside my setup. hanging free and Cozy!!
good thread for the polycryo tarp experimentation, brands or film and tape.
