    Mamajamba Mod

During my trip to Yosemite this summer on the occasions I set up my mamajamba I remember thinking that it may be useful to sew in 4 additional tabs (red lines) onto the mamajamba to give myself the option to bring in the doors some for additional protection. I think I recall in Shug's videos he had this option in a smaller tarp. I was just wondering if anyone has tried adding these onto a mamajamba and if it would provide much additional protection?

I did and it works well.
    Should work on any tarp.

Great! Any suggestions on the measurements of the tabs placement to optimize coverage?

Mine are about 20" back from the edge. Test with small clips and line first and see where you want them.

No reason this would not work on an HH Hex?

Good idea, just need a good space to test the setup.

Only difference I would see is that with a cat cut you may get a bit more coverage, due to the added tabs sitting a bit higher than with a Hex cut. But, I would assume adding more tabs would still give you more options for coverage.

I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.
