Howdy from South Texas

Hey guys, I thought I'd go ahead and introduce myself.

My real name's Blake and though I'm originally from Oklahoma, I currently live in the Rio Grande Valley (been here 10 years now), at the Southern tip of Texas. I'm a college student majoring in Zoology with a focus in Herpetology. I've loved the outdoors ever since I was kid. My favorite activities/hobbies, are herping (Think birding, but for Amphibians and Reptiles), traveling, camping, backpacking, fishing, shooting, photography, ect....

I got into hammock camping about a year ago, and I'm still learning and tweaking my system. I love it. I found out about the forum through Shug's videos. After a year of following him on Youtube I figured I should probably go ahead and join the forum.
