that's crazy, the coldest place on Earth. I like the snorkel through the jacket idea, that could help in the hammock for when it's too cold to breathe comfortably...

So I checked my calculator. I think you would need something like 10 inches of loft if you were using down.

just a heads up, he has had a 30% off sale for 2 or more years, he just recently dropped it to 20%. I recently bought his new summer bag, got it with free shipping, and it came with his pac boots for only anoither $50. Will be using that bag under my tq in really cold weather

Good luck. Their ratings are WAY off on their bags. My buddy just picked up the -20/-60 combo. He froze in the -20 bag at +20 and he's a super warm sleeper.
