My New Smokehouse Outfitter Winter Shelter

Winter time is here... I've made alot of Smokehouse's for people and several have given awesome comments and great ideals... One ideal was they wish the wall was a bit longer and the shelter was taller, so they could have people sleeping on ground to stay warm... Sooooooo,,,
I designed a new laeger Shelter call the Smokehouse Outfitter. It overlaps a strap, rope, pipe, or whatever, like an Outfitters tent (Which I have also)... Its just under 6' tall, wall is 7' long at 29" high. This one has 2 zipper in both doors... one for the hammock, other to get in/out with.

I made this one because I wanted it large enough to handle a stove that would last several hours. So when I'm hunting or just camping in the cold, it nice to be warm...
The stove I have for this shelter is a Kni-co Alaskan Jr. 12x12x18... burn time is around 4 hours. Heats the shelter up very well... I'll be testing/using this Shelter alot this Winter... Hope you like it...

Nice winter shelter. I like the additional pullouts and the clothes-line and the multicam looks real good. Thanks for sharing.

I've been building hot tents for a number of years out of random stuff like underslab insulation, canvas, poyester rain gear , etc . I am always really impressed with your workmanship and designs .

Nice job! Reminds me of the wall tents we used as a kid. Better materials now but a timeless idea.
    YMMV

That is a great winter shelter. I had heard about these types of "tents" so I am glad to have seen your photos. Nice job.
