    TATO Continuous Ridgeline Attachment

I just recently became aware of this item.

    http://www.tatogear.com/product/tarp...us-ridgelines/

If it works it looks like a pretty neat device. But it appears that it needs a little looseness in the ridgeline to get the hook wound into position. It looks like it may be hard to attach to a ridgeline that has been tensioned pretty tight.
Has anyone had any experience with this? Any line diameter limitations?

I first saw it at the PSH Fall Sprawl a few months ago, and bought one on Black Friday when they were first available. I don't know about line diameter dimensions, but ridgeline tightness shouldn't pose too much of an issue.

Thanks Gresh. In the picture on the TATO site it looks like it is being used on Zing-it or something similiar. I might give them a try.

I'd like to see how it attaches to the tarp. I may be having one of those days, but I can't see it in the pics on the website.

Yes, A little looseness in your ridgeline is required for these. once in place, just stake your tarp to the ground as usual and the looseness will be taken out.
