What is that?
DIY down booties with velcro attachments so you can have an insulated tread. It makes those walks into the cold and even snow at the wee wee hours of the morning bearable. They are part of a JC Penny puffer TQ/UQ project from last year.

For me, it's not the cold or warming back up at all. It just sucks having to get up after you've gotten all cozy and situated just right in the hammock.
I hear you on the being cozy part.
When I start feeling the pressure enough to wake me up that is, I just get up and go. I've lost too much sleep in the past to fight the urge. The booties just make that transition easier since I can wear them in the hammock and just step onto the sole portion to get business done.

I put a mat and flip-flops under my hammock so when I get up I have something to put on. Ya it's cold for a few minutes, but it's easier then squirming around trying to pee in a bottle.
I use the furry crocs when it's cold
I have found a Pringles potato chip can works great!
Keep it in your gear organizer at night, pull it under your TQ when you need it.
Fits nicely between your thighs, at about a 45* angle, so no spilling while filling.
Pop the top,
insert junk,
relieve,
remove junk,
REPLACE THE TOP TO PREVENT SPILLS,
remove from under TQ,
empty contents on NON-BOOT side of hammock.
Replace lid and put it in gear organizer for next time.
OH.
An empty Pringles can works much better than one with chips still in it.
I've gone to find myself. If I get back before I return, make sure I stay here.
When I see lovers' names carved into a tree, I don't think it's cute. I think it's strange how so many people take knives on a date.

The thread on kids in hammocks made me think that maybe they have it right. Diapers mean you don't have to get out.
I _am_ not old enough for diapers ... yet.
